If you caught Whitney & Brian's Engagement Photo Sneak Peeks on Instagram, you probably already know that this particular session encountered a few bumps along the way.
First the session was bumped from Covid, Then it appears we choose the hottest day of the year to shoot. Not to mention, when we pulled up to the couple's favorite spot at Fort Ben, there were more cars, bbqs and kiddos then there were birds in the sky. I mean after all -- hot days call for cold water and this normally quite river bank was apparently THE spot to be!
But with a little exploration and a little trust, we pushed through. After all, pooch Bernie had been waiting SO patiently for his big moment to shine! We couldn't disappoint him, right?
All in all, Whitney's upbeat personality helped chase away the humidity and keep a playful tone through out the whole shoot. Brian was a great sport as well, not afraid to cuddle up in the suffocating heat and holding her like it was the first time, shot after shot.
These two will be saying their "I Dos" over Labor Day at Willowfield Lavendar Farm an amazing little spot that their family owns in Mooresville, Indiana. The intimate ceremony will then be followed by a blow out reception, that's promising to be the highlight of the evening. And I for one, can't wait to see it for myself!
Congratulations Brian & Whitney! The count down is on...
