The Meier Family Brings Home Baby William Oliver, Giving Happy Golden "Blue" A Baby Brother
Just a week or so ago I shared the Meier's Maternity Session on the blog and told you that I was counting down the days to meeting baby William. He had arrived earlier then planned and really put his Momma through a rollercoaster i- but I'm happy to report, both he and Momma are now home and Daddy is loving & tending to them both, oh so well.
Not to mention excited new "big brother" Blue (the Meirer Family's Golden Retriever) who eagerly greeted me at the door the day of the session in their Noblesville home.
This boy was all snuggle and bounce, reminding me of my own big, clumpsy but oh-so-loveable puppy, Tilly, who I'd left at home.
And of course mom and dad swear he couldn't have cared less about baby William until I came in the house. Then Blue was right there, watching - having to be tempted with treats and toys to hang out downstairs when Kyra and I started shooting in the family's nursery. (Don't get me wrong, I love dogs - but there wasn't enough space for all of us in there, lol.)
But even with Blue shooed out momentarily downstairs, his big happy smile was still everywhere as momma and daddy opted for a navy blue, Golden Retriever Nursery filled with wagging tails, smiling eyes and sweet puppy plushies that baby William will no doubt come to enjoy.
But that's enough from me. Let's just dive right in like a happy pup. Shall we?!
