Prepping to tie the knot October 2021, Natalie and Eric (aka "Rick) reached out in a whirl wind of planning. Natalie had been lucky enough to be touring her ideal venue when she found out a date had become available which was only a FEW MONTHS away!
Excitedly they booked the date and so the whirl wind began.
Rewind a to June: When I first had the chance to chat with Natalie a few days later, planning was beginning in full force -- after all they were now going to be having a shorter engagement and there was a lot to be done before their new autumn wedding date.
I was actually out of town for a funeral when she reached but with a little finagling we were able to schedule an evening meet & greet over Zoom while the hubs and my kiddo visited with family.
During the call she and I chatted about all things wedding. Natalie was so excited to talk turkey when it came to photography as she has always had a passion for the art herself.
Of course this led us into the weeds chatting not just about her wedding day plans but also all things lenses, styles and the link.
By the time the ZOOM call ended, it was very late and we were both laughing about this and that and it became clear we were a good match.
Fast-forward about a month or so later, Rick and Natalie were game enough to venture a few hours north to the Indy area for their engagement session in one of my favorite little wooded fields in central Indiana.
In turn, I'd then be headed down their way for the beautiful October wedding. I also finally get to meet Rick, as well!
So, after a bit of ride these two piled out of the car it was quickly clear we were going to have some fun together! So with a little magic (aka. mixing of subtle posing instructions with interactive [and often inappropriate] these two's personalities were shining through, creating a gallery they'll be able to treasure for a life time.
