Okay, you caught me. A country club. I admit it. When I booked this session, I was a bit nervous about the location the Erin and her sweet family choose. For this texture, nature loving girl, the idea of a crisp, clean, well manicured lawn had me digging into my brain before the session even arrived on how to create extra dimension and texture in order to achieve my signature HTM look. But girl... there was nothing to worry about!
Little did I know, Daddy - who is also the grounds superintendent - had been scoping out locations on the course for us to shoot, ever since their family booked the session. Sure there was a well groomed and thoughtful manicured area for family photos (great work on the course there Dad!) but also a sweet little bridge by a stream that would turn out to be a killer spot. Plus who knew golf courses had wild berry bushes? I don't know if Dad even knew about this spot I found as it was a bit off the course, but dang it was it too beautiful not to include!
