Summer Mini Photography Session: Peach Splash


Some sessions are so full of personality, they practically giggle through the screen.

Baby Millie’s summer mini photography session was one of those—warm, splashy, and bursting with backyard sweetness.


Photographed at their family home outside Cicero, Indiana, this session was the perfect blend of vintage charm and toddler energy. From peach slices to water splashes, every moment felt like summer on purpose.

Custom Minis for Big Personalities


Millie showed up ready to party—tiny toes tapping, water flying, and giggles in full swing. She was curious about everything (especially the peaches!) and fully leaned into all the backyard fun.


Custom minis like this are all about letting your child lead the play in a fun new setting and Millie did just that!


  • She started slow, testing out the water

  • After encouragement discovered splashes were ok to do

  • Bag us HUGE giggles before even getting in

  • So many sweet moments of summer discover, preserved always for Momma


We kept the session short and sweet, just enough to capture those golden real moments without overstimulating or overheating.

Styling With a Vintage Summer Vibe


Let’s talk about the styling for a sec: for this session we mixed vintage textures like the metal wash basin and crochet textiles with the bright pop of real peaches and a few other vintage items sprinkled in for visual interest. The porch setting added a little extra perfect charm too. (Side note: did you know I have a giant porch we can use if you don't have one at home? and also know of one in Fishers that's a great spot too! )


Choosing a setting that reflects your family's vibe —like a home porch—gives us so much freedom. It helps keep young ones is more comfortable and makes it easier to focus on one kiddo at a time, since we can bring them in and out of the session, while letting them play in between.

Privacy Is Important To: there were SO many sweet moments from this session that I choose NOT to share since our little girl here was nak-ie. Momma and daddy will have those sweet little booty shots and leg rolls, etc for THEIR memories - but NO reason to put those online. Ya know what I mean?
