With such a turbulent day yesterday in the news (hello capitol hill), what say we dive into something a little lighter today? A little distraction to scroll through with your coffee or to enjoy with your lunch in peace this afternoon?
A few months ago I got to meet up with Yating and her beautiful family during their fall maternity session in Noblesville, In. Their daughter, Beatrice, was all a flutter about becoming a new big sister and after warming up, was telling me all about her plans for the new baby.
Fast-forward to early December, when I got the note from Yating that basically read something like this: "Hey girl - she's here! We're doing well and are game when you are!"
"Sweet!" I thought to myself! I'd had the privilege of photographing this family a few times before and couldn't wait to see little Miss B at home in her "natural habitat".
A few days later, gear & girly-headbands in hand, I arrived at their beautiful home in Zionsville, ready to meet their newest arrival.
And guuuurlll -- those sleepy eyes and oh-so-pinch-able cheeks sure didn't disappoint! Meet sweet baby Guinevere!
One of the best sleepers I've got to shoot to date...
Sweet Baby G never batted an eyelash. All snuggled up with a full milk-drunk belly, she was happy to snuggle, as the perfect little burrito baby! (lol) She even snuck a smile or two in, for good measure!
