Carmel Family is Growing Up Infront of My Lens
Every once in a while, you get the chance to photograph a family through many seasons—maternity, babyhood, toddlerhood—and it becomes more than just a session. It becomes a bright spot in your life and a fun time to catch up again and again.
That’s what it’s been like with the Meier family.
I first met them during their maternity session and every time I’ve seen them since, it’s been a little snapshot of how much love (and personality!) they’ve grown into.
This summer family mini session in Westfield, Indiana was no exception.
A Westfield Evening Full of Light
Laughter & Wildflower Fields
We met in one of my favorite Westfield natural park locations—a prairie-meets-woodland trail just on the edge of town. It was full of summer greens, wildflowers, and soft light dancing through the trees.
Will was full of curiosity and joy. We let him run, play, and explore. And every so often, he'd dart back into Momma or Daddy’s arms for the kind of moment you never want to forget.
It was real. Honest. Unscripted - with just a touch of a helping hand to along the way.

From maternity to first birthdays, and now into these quick-footed toddler years—Will has grown up in front of my lens, and it’s been such a gift to watch this family evolve.
